February 27, 2022 - Pulled from cellar and stood up the am before drinking.Took to Italian restaurant. Bright red fruits, still fresh in the mouth and nose. Great paring with the Italian food tonight. Crowd favorite over the '07 Silvio Nardi Brunello.

February 5, 2022 - Brick colored, whispy sediment, tight nose on opening. Black tea, red fruits and earth inform an attractive and elegant wine. A nicely aged brunello, not exciting but solid.

    January 9, 2022 - 3/6, vg cork. Decanted 1/2 hr.
Medium/deep garnet core, wide pale garnet rim. Nose shows spicy red fruit, floral notes, touch of nutmeg. Medium bodied, elegant, pure red fruit, florals, tea, very fine tannins, fresh acidity carrying a good length finish. Attractive and accomplished if not overly exciting.

July 14, 2021 - Sadly my last bottle. Decanted for an hour. What a beauty, a classic Brunello and time has served it incredibly well. Grazie La Gerla...produzione e anno di alto qualita.

May 17, 2021 - - Brick color - Definitely starting on the backhalf of life. Still tight after opening an hour before. Dense brickish colour aging well but jump on to the next bottle before its too late.
