May 30, 2022 - I had higher expectations for this wine. There is some nice big dark fruit left in there, but it is not aging great and should be drank now as it is not going to improve.

    July 1, 2021 - sb
    Deep, not opaque, ruby black.
Huge ripe Cali red, I almost thought this was a big zin at first, but then the structure tightened down.
Huge big Delicious Cali cab entering a period of maturity.
I’d opt for drinking soon while it’s so delicious. I can’t imagine this improving. YFS

March 24, 2021 - Mature wine that I can't see holding for much longer. Rich fruited and nice suede mouthfeel. Nicely balanced. This bottle just doesn't have going much beyond that. A touch herbal on the finish and not much obvious complexity. Pleasant and well made but not special.

December 15, 2018 - Big and bold Napa Cab. Tasted next to a 2009 Super Tuscan (with 15% Sangiovese).
Ripened plums and black cherry compote fruit show through in this mostly primary, and mature Napa Cab.
Beautiful and velvety mouthfeel, with medium(or less) acidity, giving this wine a richness and fruitiness which I personally do not prefer.
Delicious and fruity on the finish. Drink this wine now through 2022.
Definitely not a repurchase for me at $81 USD.

September 13, 2016 - Opened last night, TN from today.
Nose shows dark chocolate, burning embers, deep cassis, plum, and a hint of anise.
The palate shows a med bodied wine, very slightly hot (15.3% abv), with a lighter-than-expected tannic structure, quite juicy and enticing, and a long and dark chocolate-infused finish. There is alot going on here, but in essence it is a Napa/SLD Cabernet that may drink well for another 5 years, but I would not hold this wine alot longer...it is at a great point and won't further improve with bottle age.
WAY overpriced ($81) for what I value these days in my wines...just sayin.
