December 6, 2022 - Small pour. The nose has some dark fruit, cedar and cigar box. The palate was filled more bright reddish fruit and some cedar notes. At peak and very pretty. Enjoy!

July 12, 2021 - This wine has aged nicely. The nose is full of prunes, chocolate, and mint. The wine is still quite tannic, with comparatively light fleshy fruit weight. I feel that while the tannins are still oversized for this wine, the flavors are very advanced (not a hint of freshness), so I definitely recommend drinking now.

February 23, 2020 - Decanted about an hour before dinner, a nice grilled steak.
Dark purple in the glass, average nose of dark fruits, a little forest and leather.
Thinner than I recalled without the big mouthfeel typical of Groth & Napa cabs.
