Everyone should love this except serious wine geeks. Not necessarily memorable, but doesn’t need to be. Rather good in this price range. NY Long Island north fork, but totally international in style -

March 30, 2011 - The nose showed red berries, earth and chalk dust. On the palate, this showed a full body, yet it was fresh and focused with red berries, herbs and cedar.

1/1/2009 (link)(NV Macari Vineyards Merlot Collina Red) Juicy, light-bodied red that begs for a burger. Made 100 percent in steel, it is extremely fruity up front with red cherries, raspberries and almost no tannins.
