May 22, 2009 - Opened two days prior to drinking. Tannins were present, but not overly caustic. Nose was plum/prune. Overall excellent bottle.

August 11, 2008 - Decanted and left open for 5 hours. Still a surprising sharpness to it. Lots of dark cherry but the harsh tannins really detracted.
Had this again two of the next three nights. The third time this wine finally opened and softened up. Big flavor of dark cherry, black currant, chocolate. Would love to have had a couple of more bottles now. -

April 9, 2007 - Nose of dry cherry and bitter chocolate.
Delicious, light body with again dry cherry flavors with tobacco. Finish is really enjoying even if the mid palate maybe lacks consistency. Tannins well integrated.
