Light, but not too light, red fruit, still good life remaining, but plenty of goodness right now. Good balance and just a little funkiness.

Very perfume driven nose, somewhat in an odd place though, the fruit seemed riper than expected. Probably needs several more years at minimum.

Sadly not much alive anymore, not flawed, just no vibrancy remaining.

Another excellent bottle of this wine. Reminder of California greatness. Good balance, none of the greenness that sometimes is bothersome with these. Fruit is still vibrant.

Wonderful wine, still fresh, tropical fruit, apricot, almost enough acidity to be spectacular. Plenty of life remaining.

Beautiful, balanced wine. Great acidity, pure riesling fruit. This is a great icewine, in a great place now.

Still drinking well. Light, but nice fruit. Little short, lengthwise

Not sure what to make of this ... ripe, yet somewhat thin. Maybe an off bottle?

Beautiful ripe strawberries, good depth, but would benefit from more acidity.

Wow, amazing wine. Apricot fruit predominately but other tropical fruit too. Good length still. Even some nice acidity.

An amazing bottle of this wine. PnP, dark beautiful and powerful all at once. Grenache dominates the nose and palate. Just the right amount of garrigue and tapenade.

Last bottle, but still drinking well. Good sweetness, but not enough acidity to achieve greatness.

Drank far younger than a 1990. Still very vibrant, but some of the expected green notes are showing up. Based on this bottle, no rush to drink soon.

What a wonderful wine, balance of acid and fruit. Very light on its feet.
Deeply complex. Lasts and lasts....

Much darker color than would seem normal, but the wine seems properly aged nonetheless. Wonderful honey and honeysuckle on the nose and some subtle yellow tropical fruits. Delicious right now, but now but be in no rush to drink.

Do not be in any hurry to drink this wine, got better and better over time. Re-tasting after 2 hours open, was much better.

Very nice place now, a bit darker than expected, but not to mind. Lots of rich fruit, decent acidity still. Less lychee than some, but still there.

Still young for our tastes, but pretty good already. Very dark fruit, big, but balanced.

Seems like it might need a little more time in the cellar, but very promising, crisp and bright.

Wow, what a wine. Strawberry notes and other red fruits, wonderfully brisk/dry. Balanced acidity, excellent length.

Excellent balance of acidity, buttery oak and yellow/tropical fruit. Opulent and even a bit viscous and yet mellow. In a very good place, right now.

Based on notes from others here, we had one of the very good bottles. Beautiful balanced cab franc, hints of green pepper but in no way overpowering, earthy, just a little bit funky, got even better with some time in the glass.
White - Sweet/Dessert
Beautiful brown sugar on the nose (creme brulee in a way), baked apples, apricot, nice acidity, way too young, excellent nonetheless.

More fruit remains than structure, very dark fruit, obvious oak influence. Good mouth feel, mid-length. I figured the second day this would fall off, but in fact it got a bit better and even showed more structure, surprisingly.

corked, infuriatingly so too, because the wine that was still clearly visible was very good

A bit too much oak and reductiveness for my personal taste but still a very good wine. No need to rush to drink them. Excellent fruit (as expected) and balance.

Wonderful brambly dark fruit and a bit of Cayuse funk, what's not to love? Seems to be resolved and not likely to improve, so no need to wait.

Very primary, very pure fruit, great backbone, very young. Going to be much better in a few years. Score withheld until then.

1967 Château Calon-Ségur St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Wine went through several iterations over time. Started out a bit tired. Nose was never that expressive, but on the palate it had 45 minutes or so where the fruit was nice and round(and red) the tannins fully resolved. Nice drinking tonight. Don't think they should be held much longer, unless very cold storage.

Wish I'd read the notes here before I impatiently popped and poured this wine tonight. First things first, it isn't really ready to drink. Secondly, it is going to be a glorious wine in a couple years. Lovely red fruits, briariness, and some olive tapenade. Good length and balance.

Drinking in a very nice place now. Almost at the point where the balance of tannins and fruit meet in the middle. Beautiful dark fruit, balanced by some herbaceousness and floral notes. Seems like it still has a bit of an upside, but no need to wait.

Enjoyable nose of brioche and graham cracker. Fruit is not overpowering. Bit shallow in the mid-palate, but decent finish. Upon first opening the finish had rather tart but not off-putting finish which over time mellowed out some.

Perfumed red fruit wafts from the glass. We are good territory here. Held its own against the 1958 and 1964 tonight. Still has plenty of fruit and acidity for structure. Doubt it will get better, but no need to hurry to drink either.
