Nice bouquet. Plus acidity and good minerality. Light color and transparent that makes it even more classic. One of those rare California true Burgundian style Pinots. May Jim Clendenen rest in piece.

Concentrated and dense. Still need some time to release the fruit from the tannin wrapping and hit the sweet spot. Give it 2-3 more years of aging and it is going to be amazing wine.

Thin with unfocused flavors, don't know what more aging can do to this wine. Somewhat disappointing, especially for the price.

Mute and dead on opening. Needs 1-2 hour of decanting to come alive. Then gives you ripe fruit with a balanced, nuanced and solid wine structure.

Still drinkable and together but past peak, not "tired" by any means. For my palate, I wish that I had run into the bottle 3 years earlier! The old world grit and savoriness is evident.

Ripe, sweet, concentrated fruit, acid minus. Excessively over oaked. Was very spicy, almost bitter the fist night, but much better the second night. Sweet and hedonistic the second night.

Fresh acidity. Fruit is not quite ripe and has some green flavors. Hot and disjointed. Somewhat disappointing when compared with good vintages like 2005. Still drinkable wine!

The wine has good bouquet, fruit and acidity but is a bit hot and overoaked. Was better the second night. Needs two -three hours of decanting to open up and loose some bitterness.

Wow, this bottle was something else! One of the best bottles since 2007. Not sure why my previous bottle was so disjointed, but this one was balanced and together with nuance and focused flavors with good back bone and structure. Has delicious factor as well. Kudos!

Still drinkable and savory. Balanced and together. Depending on how you would define "peak" one might call it past peak, but I did not mind. The wine is settled down, but is not getting more complex.
