This was still really delicious. Seems like it'll keep going for awhile too.

Amazing that this wine held up for 11 years. Did the trick on a night after a bad work day.

Nowhere near past its drinking window as the CT dates suggest. Delicious.

Popped and poured and rank over the following few hours. This probably was out of its prime, but still an enjoyable wine, if not too exciting.

I think this has 5 years left at least. Still quite youthful, bright fruits.

Really non-descript. Just not much flavor coming through.

Decanted and drank over 3-4 hours. Still quite primary, but restrained. Only have a magnum left and will let that sit for awhile longer.

Definitely has more life, but don't see it getting better. Just the same old solid value that I enjoyed out of Match.

Too hot. And yet tasted thin on the palate. Decanted for about an hour before drinking.

First of 3 bottles. Delicious, but still very primary with the flavors. I think I'll hold off on my next bottle for a few years.

Decanted about 2 hours before having with grilled ribeye, then finished over the next 3-4 hours. Had some nice cigar box and leather aromas. Taste was a mix of dark berries.

This was just too jammy and concentrated for me. Strange how different my take is on it than when I had it 8 years prior. Probably a combination of preferences changing and bottle variation or development. One more bottle left.

I thought this was showing fantastic. Still so much heavy dark fruit yet it wasn't overly jammy at all. Practically light.

Too jammy and fruit dominant for me. Really no secondary characteristics to make it more interesting.

This may be the first Lewelling wine that I thought was actually approachable, and it makes me wish I held all the other bottles this long.

It's crazy what a good value these wines are. The mouthfeel was basically perfect on this and they taste was a great apple flavor.

Man, I think this is my first Lewelling wine that I considered “ready”, which surprised me. I thought it would be tighter. But it was very vibrant dark fruit. Decanted for a couple hours before drinking.

Still showing as super jammy, and made the No Girls Grenache seem light in comparison. Good, but not quite up my alley.

Enjoyed this. Loads of blackberries and blueberries without being overbearing. A touch of earth to go with it.

Probably held onto this way too long (and still have another bottle). Not much changed from my initial tasting notes. We didn’t finish this bottle.

Drank with grilled NY strips. A good wine for sure but it was missing some character. Almost seemed a bit one note with just the dark fruits.

Nice and soft. Solid fruit with some tannins still showing pretty well after being in the decanter for about 3 hours. I don't think this will be amazing ever, but is solid to have around. I'll hold off on my next bottle for a few years though.

Cedar box aroma with dark fruits. Nicely balanced dark berry flavors with some good tannin presence. Well done for the vintage.

Can definitely tell this wasn’t as strong of a vintage. Still an enjoyable wine with some typical strawberry and earthiness though.

Opened with filet Mignon. Nice wine but nothing special. Still has that blackberry flavor going strong. A good acidity as well but it just doesn’t stand out that much.

Wow, this was delicious. I don't give many scores up around 95, and I'm actually wondering if this should be higher. Elegantly smooth, with great red to dark fruits. Some hints of nice earthy flavors as well - perhaps that's where this could score a bit higher if there were a bit more secondary flavors. In a really good spot now but should hold very well. Looking forward to my remaining 2 bottles.

This was nice but I think it would’ve been best to wait a couple more years. Lots of nice dark fruit but it still seemed a bit tight. Pretty much just popped and poured and drank over the course of about 3 hours.

Like this a good deal than the 2012 Bedrock Heritage we had recently. This was big but had some balance to it and wasn't overbearing. Great dark fruits.

A great classic expression of Oregon Pinot. A combo of light and dark cherries. Good deal of acidity. I don't think there's any rush to drink this - very tasty now, but will be good for 3 years or more.

This was such a big wine after having a Brunello, so perhaps it suffered due to that. Really jammy and fruit forward. Not quite my cup of tea but I’ll see how some more time treats my other bottle.

Still too young. Decanted for 3 hours and then drank over a couple hours. So much tannin to start off, only after about 4 hours in the decanter did it really show some of the strawberry and earthy flavors.

Very fruit forward, which isn’t surprising. I think I’m just looking for something a bit more balanced or nuanced nowadays.
