This bottle is now drinking beautifully in March 2024. Coming up to its ninth birthday this fall, decant for a couple of hours and it is alive with flavour and texture that has been lacking up to now, or maybe I didn’t decant it long enough. Loved it and I think it will keep getting better.
Had it with steak and mushroom pie.

Needs a 2 hour decant at this point. Look, nose and taste are all very good. It will improve over a few more years. Just lacks qualities that would make it exceptional.

Silky tannins, supple as you move it around in your mouth, very balanced: sweet and savoury, acid and structure. Drinking beautifully now. Ready to be enjoyed and with years to go but if you have more than one, drink one now… at least!

This is drinking ideally in my opinion. It is balanced, rich, lasting and intriguing. I appreciate it and like it but I don't love it. The flavour profile is just a shade or two towards cedar and raspberries vs my preference for blackberries, plum, earth and oak. I hope you love it as I believe it’s deserving.

It's a great experience to slowly enjoy an aged Musar. Complex, sanguine, distinctive Lebanese terroir, fruit still strong with tannins integrated, aspects of this wine are unexpected in the very best way possible. Contemplative. Share with someone who will appreciate it.

Amazing Washington State Syrah - sweet, balanced, dry, smooth, silky, depth, length, nose. Syrah that will keep bringing you back for more. Good for many years ahead as it still tastes young.
