Tasted this alongside the 2010 Bodegas Alto Moncayo Veraton ($20-25) and thought the latter was comparable if not superior. Both smooth with dense fruit. A bit more acid in the BAMGCDB reflecting its youth.

intense flavor of smoked cherries. not overly acidic as other reviewers have mentioned. would taste great with a steak and blue cheese.
