Beautiful after about 30 minutes. Nose of red cherries. In a nice place if you prefer fruit to earth. Simply a fantastic wine for the money.

Need more wombat for me, but if you like flowery N. Rhône, pretty good.

I usually love Bachelet Charmes but this bottle didn’t deliver. Maybe heat damage but consensus among group was it was too rustic with fruit gone.

Hint of chocolate on nose. Tertiary characteristics just starting to show but this has a long life ahead. I’m not generally a fan of most CA cabs but this Bordeaux blend is in my CA Top 5 reds.

Very enjoyable now but will be even more interesting in the future I think.

In the wheelhouse and surpassing our expectations. It was a breathtaking bottle of wine and was better than many Montrachets I’ve had from lesser producers.
When a Ramonet grand cru is “on”, they are remarkable.

Long finish with a hint of mint.

Always a great wine for its level. Nuanced nose, minimal tannins and no tertiary characteristics at this stage.

Just a solid producer and solid burgundy without going crazy on price.

Fading. Deep yellow. Pre-mox evident.

I’ve found this producer to be consistently great young but consistently weak when aged. I will drink up on my 17s and 19s. They can do better.

Had the 14 of this wine last week and it was superior to the 17. The 17 was more rustic, less refined and less floral on the nose.

Avg for its level and price but enjoyable.

Nose of citrus…very lemony. Will be interesting to taste as it ages as it’s tight at present. Very good for level but price is reflective of same.

I liked it but didn’t love it like others.

Drinking well young. After 30 minutes, nose was gorgeous with a bit of graphite. But more feminine version than Paleo or other Cab Francs.

Ordered off the list at Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe. Very typical DRC nose but clearly a very young wine that improved over the next couple of hours.

Very enjoyable and fun to share a DRC with my son and his fiancé.

Obviously young but after 30 minutes the nose was beautiful, showing lots of VR spice. Consensus was that this will be a great wine in another decade.

This is always one of my favorite village burgundies and once again, it did not disappoint. It took about 30 minutes to open up, which was expected given the vintage.

First of 6 bottles and showing a beautiful nose with less tannins...but still a bit young for me. I think tannins will improve for several more years. No sous bois yet.

A village wine from a great producer that needs time imho. I will wait 3-5 more years for my next bottle but others at the table liked it right now.

I had this wine 5 years ago and loved it. Tonight showed a decline. First, the color has changed quite a bit over the past 5 years - browner, much lighter and clearly showing age.

Secondly, it now smells of packed brown sugar, which I personally don’t enjoy in aged Barolo. Still, a well balanced wine but not as enjoyable as it was just a few years back.

Drink up.

I’m generally not a fan of Le Moine’s reds. His “style” seems to supercede terroir.

With that caveat, this wine needed at least another decade IMO. I should have read reviews prior to opening.
