Developed nicely through three nights. Not sure it will get better with further age.

Drinking quite beautifully, opened in the morning and decanted before dinner. Leather and flint on the nose with a hint of black fruit. Palate has good acid and tannins with black fruit and a mineral note. Finishes with mineral and a balk fruit training for a good length.

Coming out of a low phase and starting to show where it is headed. I like this depth and believe it will continue to evolve.

This wine continues to evolve. It has changed to being a little more fruit forward this year than least. Gone are the tea like aromas replaced by strawberry notes and a slightly acidic palate. Happy I have a lot left to enjoy over the coming years.

Hitting its stride with lush fruit and a pretty nose. Palate has a dense fruit with a hint of reductiveness and some nice tannins.

Drinking well now but will benefit from age. Have been happy with Napa Chards from 2020 so far.

Very muted on night one, opened up quite vastly with a good fruit and spice balance on night two. Held strong on night three. WOuld let this one sleep for 5 more years.

A little closed on night 1. Drank best actually on night 3 with a good balance of spice and fruit.

Decanted at a restaurant and drunk thru dinner. Red candied fruit and leather notes on the nose. Lush and round palate with red fruit and olives with a good acid. Finish is still very drying. Drinking nicely now but could run another decade.

Tasting great right now, well integrated. Drink now, further age won’t improve this one.

Holy crap!! This wine is in a good spot. Beautiful nose and a palate of red fruit mixed in with cream soda. So sad that Drake is gone.

Decanted for four hours. Funk shook off and palate was nicely silky. Paired well with some American wagyuu ribeye. Still growing but good now.

This is in a truly good spot right now. Texture is a bit like nectar and the palate is pretty lush with tropical fruits and honey.

Slightly flawed across both bottles. Cleared up over a few nights but might want to check on these guys.

Very pretty with about a 30 minute decant. Showing leathery notes of well aged Bordeaux with a good level of fruit characteristic of dry creek. Palate was lunch and complex with a hint of chocolate and the finish was lengthy and satisfying. Started to fall off at about 4 hours. Not sure this will gain much more from bottle age but drinking really well now.

Showing really pretty out of the gate with lush fruit and a nice hint of spice. Palate is pleasingly smooth and finish is lasting. No decant needed, pop and pour and drink in about 5 hours as the heat starts to overwhelm. Pretty consistent with most of the 2009 CdPs I've had in the last year. I doubt this will benefit from additional age.

Agree with the other reviews. Good showing of oak and a lush palate, pop and pour is best as it does fade fast and the alcohol takes over in 3-4 hours.

Drank with dinner after a full day of tasting in Paso Robles. It was astounding how much this wine fell in the Paso character of much younger wines we had that day. Full of fruit and spice with a good powerful palate this wine was drinking very well. We both agreed that if we did this blind we would have guessed Paso Fruit.

Needed a night to really show up. Much more fruit forward on night two with a silky palate and on night three the fruit waned but a pepper came around. Probably best to wait a few more years.

Rhubarb and strawberry on the nose with a hint of almost citrus. Palate is Lucy with cherry flavors and hint of tannins around the edges. Overall really surprised the place this is in. Finish is lengthy with a lingering tobacco. Drink up, it’s signing at pop and pour.

Good mineralty with spice and leather notes. Palate was nice and complex with a little more weight than a similarly aged bordeaux but the minerality was very nice and tannins were still present. Overall a pretty wine.

Wow, I really liked this wine. The nose had notes of Creme Brulee with a hint of vanilla. The palate was very pleasing with a toasty note and present acidity. Finish was pleasing and this was a beautiful wine with food and for sipping.

Coming into a really nice drinking window. Great from decant thru the night. Good fruit and spice balance on the nose. Palate still shows a little stronger tannin hinting at a bit more aging growth. Finish was satisfying.

White pepper and a hint of blue fruit on the nose. Palate has a light acid with a silky front and tannins that hit pretty heavy at the end. Finish is lasting and a bit spicy. Went really well with bucatini amatriciana and lasted into the night. Would recommend drink now with food.

Night one was classic rocks with a distinctive nose and a nice lush palate. Night two blew my mind, Dr Pepper on the nose and a super silky palate with deep blue fruit and smoked bacon. Both my wife and I were stunned where this wine was on night two.
