Decanting for dinner. Poured few ounces in a glass. This is not a Brunello! Hahaha!
Though I have limited experience with Brunellos, this is the most robust, opulent, darkest Brunello I've had so far. Meat, funk, red fruits, chewy tannins, nice acid, great fruit.
An hour later, I thought I opened a box of chocolates when I took a whiff from the decanter...just wonderful experience with this bottle so far.
The wine kept getting better during a 2-hour dinner. Paired well with Argentinian empanadas and steaks. Fruit started to drop off just a little towards the end of dinner. What a wonderful Brunello.
