Popped and tasted immediately. The nose hold strong scents of oak, black fruit, and lighter scents of eucalyptus, lavender, lilacs, and caramel. In the mouth flavors of blackberry transition to blueberry pie, bakers chocolate, mocha, and light cedar notes. At this point in time the finish is about 30 seconds long. It's powerful while still delicate...and that's what I really love about these Teachworth Cabs. More to follow after a 4 hour decant...I'm bringing this to a dinner tonight in my decanter.

nose: lovely and showing its youth on the nose with tones of cedar, graphite, dark cherries, black currants, and scorched earth tones

taste: very good tannins with an excellent medium/full feel and balanced tones of black cherries, black currants, dark red fruits, cedar, some tobacco leaf tones and a touch of scorched earth

overall: needs just a couple of years before its really going. Drinking fairly well with a decent decant, though it is on the younger side
