Decanted. Soft tannins, wonderful fruit especially for its age, silky and velvety in your mouth. Fantastic and worth the wait.

In your face fruit! Not certain of whether of how I rate this wine...it's good but style isn't my favorite.

Drinking really well right now!
The wine looks ruby colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

I had a magnum of this and it was a fantastic wine. I doubt it improves any with further age so I would drink up but no issues with waiting this long.

This wine while great several years ago has started to fade. It's certainly not bad by any stretch but has lost some of its flavor.

Nothing remarkable about this wine. It's balanced but lacking much aroma and fruit. I didn't pick up much backbone.

Drank this with a bit of aeration and 30 minutes in the glass. Lots of fruit including cherry on the nose. It paired well with the grilled venison that I served tonight. My wife and I really enjoyed it as it is different than the typical Merlot in that it had more tannins and fruit but was different enough from a Cabernet. I like the winemaker's style for this varietal.
