Well I wasn't overly impressed with previous bottle but I'm going to chalk it up to bottle variation. This bottle which was decanted for 4 hours was juicy,round and beautiful. Classic Flaccianello. Loved it. Sadly only two left.

Decanted and left it to breathe overnight. Covered in the am and then drank later that evening. It was good after 2 hours but very good the next day.

Trying the wines of Southern Italy prior to a visit. Agree with most reviews. Nice everyday wine. Was bright with tart fruit and graphite. Good with food. Limited access here to the wines of the Mezzogiorno.

Beautiful full round and delicious wine. Can still cellar for a while , still has prominent tannins but pretty close to its sweet spot.

I opened this bottle after a 05 Tignanello. In stark contrast it drank well right out of the bottle with strawberry and cherry on the nose. Tannins were round with beautiful spice and a nice finish. Drinking beautifully right now.

Opened for 4 hours in bottle ( should have decanted ) before tasting. The wine was very tight, with a restrained to very limited nose and aggressive tannins. Continued to taste for 8 hrs before leaving it with cork in it for 24 hours.
Much better the next night but still a restrained wine. Very much an old world wine, which I like , but I had hope for more fruit and a more aromatic wine. Good not great at present. More time in the cellar.

Recently discovered Unti. Becoming a big fan. Just goes to show you don't have to pay a fortune for really good wine. All of their wines are approachable. Great fruit and spice. Great eveynight wine.
