Classic claret. Rich for the vintage. Still showing well.

like a particularly rich yeasty sherry this has a long long finish with nutty savoury notes throughout.....a perfect cheese wine

Viognier is my favorite white grape.
I got this bottle from Colmar, Alsace. Having plan to drink in Dijon a day later but no time. Just bringing it along to Burgundy, Chamonix, Annecy, Geneva, then Zurich.

Anyway, still showing well in everything. Full loaded of flowers...flowers-bomb, mineral, fresh scent of acidity, green and yellow fruits....a walk in the park....After 60 mins, hints of mild honey scent, dramatic, very charming, more easy touch than Condrieu of M.Chapoutier. The texture is like dense mineral water, very nice balance, freshy like a sexy, naughty young girl. Love at first sip again....

The finish is killing me softly with happiness, blowin' my soul inside.

My heart is in Montrachet...
My love belongs to Corton-Charlemagne...
But my lusty lover....she comes from Condrieu....

Drink beautifully now - 2017............93-95/100..............
