9/23/23, 11:59 AM - This wine is not yet ready—too young for a Grange.
9/17/20, 10:48 AM - Curious about the word "flabby"--used by you and one other reviewer here. Can you say more about what you're descrbing?THANK YOU!
7/9/18, 9:36 AM - I believe Parker rated 2009 Brunello vintage a "93"
7/31/18, 3:54 AM - Re-checked Parker. 2009 Brunello vintage is rated 93 while Spectator rates it an 89 and Wine Enthusiast gives it a 95. Go figure. I always rely on Parker for vintage assessment or, more to the point, cellering potential. How does he do it?!?
12/3/15, 1:41 PM - Thanks. I agree--am learning sadly that Jeb Dunnuck is NOT Robert Parker….By any chance do you have the Xavier Rasteau in your cellar? It's another grenache based wine with a Jeb Dunnuck "93" Drinks like an 88.
5/9/15, 8:09 AM - Good morning! I'm curious whether you've tasted the wine since November. I have but two bottles… want to hit it when it's ready! Thanks for a very intelligent review.
5/1/15, 9:36 PM - Wine Access gave this wine quite a lot of hype. I'll be very disappointed if it's not only good, but great. How soon after your wine was shipped did you open? (I find it best to wait after shipping--the longer the better…)
5/2/15, 11:23 AM - I'm merely curious now--you've had your wine more than two months. Wine Access only recently shipped mine--I received it April 9. Are you, perhaps, closer to Oregon than I. Most of my winter orders were held for spring delivery due to weather concerns.
4/25/15, 9:42 PM - Curious--is this the only bottle you've had? I've opened three--trying to be disciplined enough to let the others age. All were drinking very nicely. Nothing "flat" …but vibrant, fresh, fabulous.Hope you have others in your cellar.
