two years later and this has evolved; blackberry and dark fruits with tar
and espresso; tannins are beginning to soften; long finish; two hour decant

very dry, with good acidity, some bright red fruit on the nose which followed through to the clean finish; paired well with fresh tagliatelle and a Neapolitan style ragu. a bit austere for my taste

noticeable funk at first that blew off a little with time, red fruit aroma,
somewhat balanced, better the second day, and seemed to be better with food. My expectations and desire for this to be a good value selection coupled with the fact that I opened the bottle just 2 days after a cross country journey may have effected my judgement. I'll try the next bottle after it has some time to rest.

tart cherry and musty earth-balance skews a little toward acidity which to Air Guitar's point made it a nice match to a caramelized onion mushroom pizza with a mild truffled gouda
definitely a good value

big wine; dark fruits, spice, tar; PS is only 10%, but makes itself known. finishes with a tannic bite that can be softened with either time or food. I served it with grilled lamb chops and side dishes that were augmented with bacon that went well with the wines smokey; burnt rubber qualities. great QPR

I have been underwhelmed by some of these in the past considering the price and pedigree, but this bottle struck me as hitting on all cylinders.
Cherry and red fruit, spice, leather all supported by a nice acidity and silky smooth tannins. A nice compliment to braised pork shanks with cheesy grits.

95 may be a little much, but this is a very drinkable, very satisfying quaffer that is a perfect pairing to pizza, pasta, or just kicking back after a long week

his benevolent majesty the Chairman of PAWS gave us the darling little pinot for $16.95, I bought as many as I could find. It is with a mix of sorrow and joy that I drink my last bottle. Yummy!

yes, the hint of ginger is apparent on the nose and palette; it's crisp and clean like biting into a green apple or pear. There is nice acidity that makes it very food friendly. We drank it with a butternut squash tagine.
