This producer always delivers! This wine seems to balance concentration and finesse. Lots of spice, olives, and black berries. Super aromatic as well. Glad to have another 5 bottles.

Have had the white label before and really enjoyed. This one fell flat. It’s thin, lacks fruit, and has no finish. I know these wines are more on the feminine side but this was just weak and uninteresting.

Kind of expected more from this wine. It’s sort of hollow and feels incomplete relative to other vintages. It lacks fruit and finishes dry and short. Curious if age will lead to improvement. Will sit on other bottles for a few years to assess.

Not enjoying this wine. It’s nondescript and lacking any terroir. It’s kind of jammy and feels high alcohol. Been open 60+ minutes and giving up for the night. It definitely needs time and air so will revisit tomorrow.

Third time having this wine. This wine just didn’t hit. Paired with a streak. It’s disjointed. Not balanced, not much of a finish, and a bit hollow. Oh well

Quite impressed as this is my first experience with this wine. Happy to have two more bottles. As much as I enjoyed this wine, I suspect it will be even better in 3-5 years. Lots of spice box, red fruit, and chewy tannins. Going to let the others sleep for a while but happy I bought this vintage and the 2021!

This is really good! If you like Napa fruit but also like a more restrained wine this is for you! Start to finish a delicious wine. Super impressed.

Gunpowder and citrus on the nose. By memory, compared the 2018 this much better acidity and mouthfeel. Happily drink this all day!

Was served at a wine dinner- this wine was harsh and lacked fruit. Can't really see it improving. Served next to '89 Pichon Baron that was much more enjoyable

Really find this hard to drink. It’s heavy and sweet and just not my speed.

Not an easy drinker. Gave it a healthy decant and the wine showed a bit of promise at first. It then became tannic and very dry finish. 15 years in and I guess it’s “too young blah blah blah” but I am dubious this wine ever really evolves into a great wine. AG put drinking window as 2018-33; if this in prime drinking window I guess I am just not a fan.

Perhaps I will revise my view over the next few hours but this is very disappointing. It’s super dry without any fruit. Can’t drink it

No fruit. Hollow. Poured out after trying a few times over several hours.

Super refined tannins! We rarely finish a full bottle and this one just went. Not sure this needs to be aged. Just feels like on of those premium fruit Napa wines that won’t necessarily gain further complexity with age. Have a few more so will wait a few more years and see how it evolves.

One of those nights that nothing I opened worked including this dud- no fruit. Maybe shut down or just a bad bottle

Tasted at an Oakville Growers wine tasting in NYC. This wine stood out amongst many producers- great weight, balance, and structure. Suspect this wine will only improve with age. Glad to have bought some.

Not a great showing....overall, tight, lacking fruit, and a bit of a struggle to drink. The Burg enthusiasts will say it was not ready. Could be the case, but have had more current vintages of this wine that were far superior.

Earthy wine that is drinking very well. Paired with the 2010 Jamet Cote-Rotie which was perhaps unfair as the Jamet was silky, floral, and way more graceful.

Nearly flawless wine and sadly last bottle. It is definitely drinking great now and can easily go another 10+ years.

Just don’t get it. It’s too much of everything for my taste and over-priced for that reason. Too much vanilla, too rich and oaky, and detect too much alcohol.

Well made but just not my style. A bit of heat and richness that is not how I prefer Pinot.

In a great spot- it's a real mix of red and blue fruits. Tannins are really soft and there is a good tension to this wine. This wine would please a lot of crowds as it is super easy to drink and the fruit is excellent. Glad I sat on a few and waited to open

A flawless bottle of chardonnay that I suspect will only gain more complexity with age. Really long finish and medium bodied wine and may simply be the best domestic chard I have experienced.

Lesson learned.....first time with this wine and I opened it WAY too early....by hour 4 it was starting to show itself. It will be an excellent wine in the future (best guess is to give it 3-5 years min) as all the goods are there and you can tell it's really well made.

Disappointing bottle. Nose was very off putting- think wet earth. The wine itself was monolithic. Day 2 and no improvement.

Super showing for this vintage and sadly last bottle. Lost a lot of the baby fat in a good way- very red fruited wine and just great structure.

First time trying and unless this was an off bottle, simply not my style. Very extracted, dull fruit, and simply an uninteresting wine.

A bit disjointed for me. It’s very modern, oaky, and a bit extracted. Too much vanilla and quite a harsh finish. The Mythicus bottling is always so good so this is a disappointment.

This is one of those wines that confused the heck out of me. Blind, would have said something like Saxum or SQN. That's not a bad thing either- it is just very modern and nothing like a classic CDP. It was also super young which makes it hard to really assess. Very rich wine overall and they really do a good job masking such a high level of alcohol.

Wine was decanted for two hours. At first, the wine was not showing much and was worried wine was in a dumb phase. It wasn't until an hour sitting in the glass that the wine actually took on some weight and really opened up. A really balanced version of this wine. Served blind would have guessed a more finessed Napa wine. Delicious.

Another great bottle from Morgen Long that went too quickly given a party of four. Just great minerality and tension in this wine; perfectly balanced with a long finish. Wine really blossomed with 30 mins+ of air.

First time cracking a Kinsman wine and this did not disappoint! 2 hour decant and this wine was ready to go. Super fine tannins, great tension, and nice long finish. WOW- super impressed, especially for a 2017 given all the vintage haters.

Day 1- too tight. Decided to put cork back in and wait 2 days. Wine was way more open on day 3 but this wine is still very young. Not sure about some notes that say this is a “light” Syrah. It’s fairly dark. It has all the goods to be great and should have waited to open. Anyhow, 91 points for now but suspect it is way more integrated and enjoyable in 4+ years.

Medium bodied Bordeaux blend that had bought after visiting a few years back. Wine has faded quite a bit, which is a bit surprising after 5 years. Lacked complexity, especially a short finish.

Fairly uninteresting wine that was a bit too green for my taste. After an hour open, it started to show a bit more. There was a lack of fruit throughout and not much of a finish. Expected more.

Hands down one of the best domestic Syrah's I have had. A bit of dust at the end that gives it an old world feel. On the spectrum of "ready" I would not hesitate to open this wine.

92+ as this wine is still young. The aromatics are so amazing. Nice tension of fruit and acid and suspect it will gain complexity with a bit more time. Further proof that Jamie crafts awesome wines!

Interesting wine that left all perplexed after an hour of opening/drinking. All around, really well made wine. More finesse than power in a good way. The surprise was the lack of tannins for a relatively young wine. This left us unsure which direction this wine was heading. Worth opening one if you have it. Based on memory, the River Droite is still my favorite Blankiet (but still need to open Mythicus, which is 100% Cab).

Decided to open this after a summer 2019 visit and purchase. First blush- it’s young but it’s down the middle Napa Cab. Throw out all the generalizations about the 2017 vintage. In a good way, it tastes like any one of the great vintages in Napa. Nice contrast of blue and red fruits. Finish is a bit short and harsh. Maybe it softens over time?

I want to like this wine. The nose is great. But it just falls flat. It’s thin, no secondary characteristics, and the finish just dies. At age 7, I expected more.

Just as I remember tasting at Winery last summer. Another great bottle of this Cab Reserve. Oak presence will mellow out with age but wine is already in balance. Tannins are not overpowering and this has a great long finish.

Out of the box, screams Barolo. Dried roses and tar and nice medium bodied wine. With air, fruit fading fast and fairly meh. Dumb phase? Not sure this bottle will ever improve from here. Oh well.
