drank with other Napa icons from the 90's Could really appreciate the non Napa nature of the wine, but drinking beautifully, and has plenty of time left

Yummy, juicy, sophisticated, big, softer tannins on the finish. Very young wine, still good the next day

Big CA cab. Diamond Mtn fruit. typical style. Yes, as with the chard,a there is oak influencing the flavor but a more appropriate amount that doesn't knock out everything else. Wine is not at its prime yet, but reaching it. Nice intense deep fruit, complex tannins on the finish. Real nice mouth feel

I love Brunello This is a style that continues to improve and has years left. Very complex, and is evolving into an even more spectacular wine.

Fruit less forward but there, tannins softening but still providing serious backbone. . Flavors integrating YUM

This is just spectacular! Juicy fruit, evolving tannins, very youthful for its age (mag helps) This the typical dirty style of Felsina great with regular family Italian food Tomato sauce etc enjoyed with a group who all liked it

young, oak notes in nose and palate, tons of fruit, slightly harsh, probably drunk too early. Also didn't drink with food. Potential is there

Very stiff upon opening; so tight as to be unapproachable until it had 15 minutes of the evening after a Northern CA rainstorm. Opened harshly, then softened almost immediately as it grabbed at the opportunity to inhale the air after nearly 19 years of isolation. Fruit mature, some edge to the finishing tannins, the wine is balanced and somewhat overstates its age. May be at or close to its peak, but is by no means past.

Wow! This brunello has plenty of time to grow up. Mod body style, sophisticated mature fruit, good acidity, drank with antipasta, salumi, cheeses, and 2001 Clos du Val cab. Interesting comparison from an age standpoint. Some soft harshness, overall a wine better for dinner, but more than stood its own with antipasta, and same year cab.

I'm sure some of you might be thinking "he's crazy " This was a total surprise to me. Color was dark red without the expected orange-brown of a 15 year old CA cab. Fabulous youthful fruit, almost like the wine was stuck in time. Tannins fully mature still structured but soft and integrated, and beautifully balanced. It was really at that "just right" point. One of the best of the Bernard Portet era. I wish I had a couple more......

still a little rough, tannins somewhat drying on the finish, I believe this wine has more time. Does reflect the terrior of the Central coast with some green pepper notes, which was more common 10 years ago than now. big wine.

10 year old Napa cab. Has aged well, and keeps its roots throughout.
Close to its peak(or sl past?) We drank with the 05 Isosceles, easily defined Napa vs Central coast. Some harshness in the finish more tannins than fruit, but not overpoweringly for either one.

Fleshy, drinking very well right now. Retains some mature youthfulness, but is clearly an adult. Sophisticated flavors, well integrated, nice mouth feel, just a great time for this wine

WOW! Amazing flavors, integrated, layers of stuff. Tannins have softened nicely, without giving up the backbone. No cherry/berry soda pop flavors on this one. Spectacular!

very young wine, rough, sl bitter, tannins strong. Many layers of flavors, not delineating. Obviously immature, expected for a 10 barbaresco. Needs 5 years, but potential is there. It is structured well, just not ready.

375. Showing sl more age than its bigger brother. Juicy, more or less fading fruit, still packs a punch. Went really well with my lamb chops

This tasted too good and went down too easily, I afraid a drank it more like beer! So juicy, and soft, not much time left, but it is not over hill, by any means. It was purchased at winery and stored in my cellar since. I've liked this wine for some time(Case) and always liked it for what it is, not overly complex just tasted great!

The wine opens with a slightly over extracted nose that fades as the wine stablizes, and becomes a large wine with everything to make a balanced beautiful juicy typical CA cab. Refined and classy

Wow this is drinking well right now, still has years left, as do most 2006's Great balance of fruit and stiill has that tannic backbone that keeps it toghter. Still a little tight right out of the shoot, softens and opens up into a glorious Chianti Classico

A little young. Fleshy, with slight leanness, good balance, as they tend to be for Dehlinger. Earthy fruit, both CA and Burgundian characteristics. I expect when I have another bottle in a couple years, the score will rise a few points

This is just rockin good wine. Very elegant, but muscular, big fruit, jammy, great tannins- still a baby. Totally drinkable, but has significant time left to evolve. Great mouth feel. Perfect with steak

It's always sad when we wait too long on a bottle. The wine is starting to tire. Still well balanced, but fruit is getting dried out, one can get a sense of what the wine should have been. Please note that this was a 375, I wouldn't be surprised if the 750 was rockin

Big wine alert. The cab comes thru by itself, and is muscular. sangiovese rounds off some of the hard edges. It was a vegetarian pizza ( I didn't order it) and the wine might have gone better with more fat. Sorry healthy people.

This is just rockin good wine. I have drunk pinots too young for too long, it's great getting a feel for subtle age on a CA pinot. Red fruit, tannins that are soft and structured, integrated flavors, and some richness that imparted size to the wine. some of that oak smokiness, but not dominating

Moderate complexity, fairly typical Napa cab, not sure bottle size has affected it yet if at all in the near term It has it all, but not spectacularly

It is another example for me that I tend to drink pinots too early. The wine had picked interesting and delicious nuances, and complexity. the cherriness was still present, they were mature dried cherries. The tannins are well integrated, both there and not there. Just coming together nicely

Ullage bottom neck, a little worrisome for an 06 This a big Tuscan Bordeaux, clearly needs some time, the ullage didn't seem to affect flavors Went well with my lamb. Rough solid backbone, big wine. fills the month

Spectacular wine! Everything going on and just right. Interesting to have drunk 04 Cepp, Solengo, and Fontalloro, inside a week. This is a wine that tastes good just drinking without analyzing. Great balance of fruit, acid, tannins, and class. Flat out yummy!

Beautiful wine for NV. style: balanced and refined. rich almost creamy, but has the acidic backbone to balance the well integrated yeast, so I guess not that creamy.... this falls near the middle of the style profile of acid vs yeasty, but more elegant

Just slightly disappointed....Not as familiar with Sweetwater compared to the other single vineyard pinots from Rochioli. That being said, big wine, oak still showing thru, not fruity in the CA pinot style, good acidity with grilled pork loin. Enjoyable short of "knock your socks off" which several of the other pinots do

It has held up well, for a 9 y/o Sonoma cab. Fruit still there, but fading faster than the tannins. Good acidity to go with steak and burgers.

This is a spectacular wine! In the course of a week we had 04 Cepp, Fontalloro, and Solengo. This was the most elegant and still kinda dirty? Smoothe in the mouth, balanced, and ready, but still has some years left, maybe close to its peak. Fruit, acid went with food; not to get carried away......
