Still very rich. Will be good for years to come. Does not show any signs of age.
The wine is still rich and weighty on the palate - a very dark red, with a slight sediment beginning to settle in the bottle. The nose opens up after time and shows lovely violet, dark berry and meaty aromas.

Decanted in glass. Dark, rich ruby red. Great nose of cherries and spice. Bruised cherry, plum and, again, spice on the palate. Tannins firm but smooth. One of the best Oregon pinots I've had.

smooth, dark, chocolaty, big cherries, a bit of spice-box, rich and satisfying. decanted as it is throwing a little sediment.

Had this weekend with our favorite Bistro burgers. Seamless. Beautifully integrated, lush and satisfying. Dark plummy flavors with a bit of cocoa and spice. Tannins provide nice full mouth feel; finish is prolonged and memorable.
Excellente!

flawed
wet paper/wood smell overpowers everything else, thin fruit, weak bodied. Very Disappointing

This wine needs time. Initially just a big smack in the face - but on day two it was more balanced and showing a very interesting profile of flowers, spices, smoke and meat.
