very pretty cherry notes- some funk on nose - almost a medicinal note that hoefully will blow off - but i enjoyed this

quite sweet on entry - watermelon and grapefruit. This didn't have any air and would hope it rounds out, but if you served this blind to me I wouldn't think Baudry that's for sure

reading other notes And agreeing about the "funk". To me it came across in a medicinal way, and with air became more pronounced. There is a wonderful balance in the fruit - bright cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, and ther herbal/medicinal notes - like a funky amaro. I think this is a matter of taste and was in my wheelhouse and wouldn't hesitate buying more.

this is growing on me - at first a bit shrilly - but it balances out and has a very gulpable cranberry type fruit along with some serious minerality

super tight and closed down - rather simple fruit - will give this some time in bottle. The stuffing is there for sure

After 15 minutes this was singing. This has been sleeping for 15 years in my wine fridge and showed beautifully. That subtle spur cherry with earth tones and hints of tobacco make this a beautifully balanced wine

1st time with this wine - found it delicious. intense berry fruit along with spicy elements on finish and perfectly blaanced. Probably could age and become more distinct, but this was gulpable right from start

the most un chambolle chambolle I have ever had. Ummm ripe, rounded, kinda new world, but not really, like a sicilian mountain wine in a hot vintage.

still has the lovely fragrant cherry palate - some funk now coming in since having this early on - putting on some weight. intriguing wine for sure

checking in on these - last time I tried was 2016 and noted a pure cherry note with an equal mineral streak. First sip was muted and sleepy. waited 30 minutes in glass. It has an almost chambolle like dried cherry/floral taste that is immediately appealing. Medium weight, with the same finish. Quite drying tannins but the fruit keep that from a distraction. Some hints of lavender and crush rose petals. I am glad I have a few more and think this can evolve a bit more in time - developing more tertiarary notes - but, no reason to wait - as this is a beauty now.

Disappointing - had this for 2 days and it comes across as too plummy, and out of balance. The acidity is too much here and makes finish a bit harsh

This showed beautifully. a light mouthfeel, substantial body, and some sweetness on entry - maybe due to vintage - Clear color, fragrant northern rhone goodness. One of the better wines I have enjoyed

Starts muted. Smells dusty and interesting. Poured in burgundy zalto. The tannins pop out immediately and this has a drying note on the palate. Some dried leather shoes on palate as well. Some pretty cherries behind that. After about 20 minutes air it is less drying and that pretty dried cherry note is coming through more. Quite Pretty and showing very well.

very nice oregon pinot with age. This has nice ripe rasberry puree typr fruit and integrated tannins and acidity. Clearly new world (was hoping for Burgundian elements) and the age, in this case has let it evolve seamlessly.

first time trying this wine and winery - tightly wound and somewhat polished - seems on the modern side - the fruit and overall structure is excellent with rounded acidity. I'm having this with a steak and it is going very well with it. not sure I would re buy this, but that said am happy to have had it.

serious peach notes on aroma and palate along with a spicy anise that gives this a unique and aromatic sancerre. The warmer it gets the more expressive.
