I must have a flawed bottle. It was well stored. No appearance of oxidation, but a lot of prunes on the nose which carried over and dominated the palate. No fruit, minimal tannin and acid. Very little mi-palate. Had to pour it out. First time for a Turley

My only bottle, so no comparison with the past. Surprisingly still alive and well, especially after reading the previous notes. Dark ruby color, no bricking. Lively nose, a bit earthy, smokey with some violets. Good acid and some lingering tannin, but definitely thin on the mid-palate. Very little remaining fruit but a nice sweetish finish. Paired well with marinara sauce.

Still going strong. Nice nose with earth and bramble. On the palate, spicy, good acid, some red fruit. Still quite intense. Aging well

A delightful wine at a good state. Spice all the way through; nose, palate and finish. Some earthiness on the nose. Medium body. Good residual acid but the tannins are resolved. Enjoy!

Past prime, but still holding together surprisingly well. A little bricking, but still ruby. Some earthiness left on the nose. Silky, with some traces of fruit. Tannins fully resolved, but plenty of acid left to light up the palette. Still works well with food.

Popped and poured. Still remarkably intact. No bricking. Intense red fruit and briary nose. Some smoke seems to come and go on the nose also. Lots of red fruit left on the palate. Good acid matched well with homemade pizza. Unfortunately, my last bottle.

Pop and pour. A little vanilla on the nose at first, then opened up nicely to show black fruit and some earthiness. Medium-to-full bodied with good balance and fruit. Tannins still there. The wine was excellent with plenty of life ahead.

Still going strong. Almost translucent, but no bricking. Very smooth, nutty, holding together well. Great flavor and finish. A very enjoyable after dinner experience.

Bottle badly oxidized. It's been well stored but a trow away at this point.

Very dark. Bramble and black fruit on the nose. A touch of prunes when I first tasted it, but they to dissipate. Still a huge wine with tannins to be resolved. Plenty of black fruit left for the palate along with some spiciness. Good acidity. Still a baby.
