Imponerende sursøt morell på nesen fra åpning. Svært innsmigrende. Stor, men ikke overveldende munnfølelse. Godt tanninbitt, rød frukt og klassiske sangiovesemarkører gjennom hele smakskurven. 93-94p

Magnum kjøpt på Des-22 slippet. Flott og tiltalende nese med gul frukt, sitrus og en snev av tutti frutti. Flott også i munnen med overraskende lite modningsaromer. Moderat munnfølelse og litt kort som tolkes som at den er forbi middagshøyden. 90p

Rett i glasset. Klassisk Bordeaux-nese med solbær, kirsebær, edelt treverk, blyant-kvess og søt lakris. Følger opp i munnen med samme. Rødbærsfrukten dominerer på en innsmigrende måte men viser flott modning. Tanninene er polerte og integrerte. Moderat lengde. Hadde ingen forventninger, men dette leverte til de grader. Som hånd i hanske til ytrefilet av Kvitsøylam med steinsoppsaus, asparges og mandelpotetmos.
Branaire-Ducru-17 i forrige uke, som tildels ble hauset opp (2017 er visstnok tilgjengelig nå) blir blåst av banen. 92p

Straight from the bottle this one really shines. Harmony, balance and power. Red berry fruits, exclusive woods and spices on the palate and nose. And it stays. What a beauty. Had it 7 years ago and it was closed, now it’s in a very good place.

Great in every way. Mocca coffee, moderate acidity with subtle intensity and lots of yellow fruit. Balance. Enough fizz and bobbles. Charming but light aging notes. In a great place now.

What a great wine! Vibrant nose. Full body, smooth and present tannins. Tobacco and tertiary fruit. Very balanced and easy drinking. Great Barolo will always remind me about Burgundy.

Again a very open and available 2011. Light red color. All the classic Barolo aromas that almost prevents the drinking as the smell is so fantastic. Drank parallel with Voerzio Serra-99 and Rupestris was more charming and open, but less powerful. A great wine that dont need more time.

Two first were corked. The third was fine. Quite Oake and powerful style with ripe red cherries, leather and spices. Good acidity and mouth grip. Great value for money.

3 liter bottle, PaP. Smooth, open and balanced with very pleasant tannins, lots of dark fruits, leather, wet forest and with a mild and sweet herbs nose. Almost burgundy style in its harmony and lack of aggressiveness. My impression have drunk quite a few of these PdB Barbaresco's is that there is a big advantage with magnum and above when it comes to experiencing the wine..

Blindt ville dette gått til California. Ganske varm stil med solid kropp og god spenst. Fersk rød frukt og floral på nesen. Det er mye rød frukt hele veien men med tydelig integrert lakris og litt sevje. Ingen eik er brukt på denne vinen.

Flott balanse mellom åpne primære frukt-aromaer, roseblader og tjære. Tanninene var umiddelbart for fremtredende men roet seg utover kvelden. Drikker meget bra nå og strukturen tilsier at denne vil holde seg lenge på topp.
