Still young. Tons of acid, amongst the fruit. This has years of life left in it.

Still delicious. Nicely balanced and well integrated. The fruit is still the centerpiece, but nice acidity remains.

This wine is still drinking incredibly well. Continues to evolve two hours after being open. Wonderful acidity.

Excellent wine still well within its drinking window. Dominant flavor of green pepper.

Another reminder of how sad it was that HMV is gone. Ted Lemon did a wonderful job with these Zins. They are still going strong.

Too lemony, too acidic.

Mediocre. Not what we expect from Ryan. Tasted like a Siduri regional blend, which runs less than 1/2 the price.

Did not taste like Viognier.

Wow, what a disappointment. This was all vanilla and fruit. No acidity, no smoke, no earthiness, nothing. A sincere disappointment.

Wonderful fruit. A bit much of oak, will dissipate with age. Smooth feel on the finish.

Nice Napa fruit overshadowed by overuse of French Oak. Will not buy again.

Cassis, tobacco and leather. Also, has unmistakable Napa fruit, but not a fruity wine. Excellent QPR.

Decanted for 2 hours. Strong nose of red fruits, leading with plums and raspberries. Backbone of chocolate and slight cooked meat scents. Wonderful wine with a voluptuous, textured mouth feel.

Crisp -- not your old- style CA chardonnay. No malo at all. Would save it for another year, no more. Carmel notes, straw color and very fresh.

The o5 Pine Ridge Encantado is much better.. Too much fruit, not complex at all.

Delicious wine that drinks very much like a Bordeaux. Not too much acid, nor is it tannic. Dark red and black fruits, as well as some lead and earth elements.

Should not be compared to NZ sb's, but rather to white Bordeaux. Weirdly, a slight cab sense to the nose. Complex wine. Still drinking very well.

Pleasant, light wine -- stands out from the other Pinot Noir roses coming from the top CA producers (e.g., Williams Selyem, Rochioli, Sanford, etc.). The main difference was color (salmon vs. pink), nose (more citrus) and acid-level (much higher). Looking forward to drinking additional bottles.

Interesting and good wine. Nose and taste with melon and citrus notes, but with much lower acid that I expect with wines showing similar flavors.

Very fragrant nose with red fruits and berries. Very typical taste of a Dry Creek zin.

Wonderful wine. Has notes of citrus, but it is more balanced and has a thicker mouthfeel than SBs coming from New Zealand.

Very nice wine. Lovely red fruits on the nose with a rich, dense follow-up in the mouth. Body was nice -- relatively light for a Zin, but not watery. Overall, one of the best Russian River Zins I've had.

Not a bad wine, but not a good Cab. Nose was that a Zin -- not too surprising considering what HMV makes. The mouthfeel was nice, but the taste we far too juicy. Red fruits dominated with none of the Cabernet flavors we would expect.

Pale salmon-pink color, strawberry nose and a pleasant yeasty flavor in the mouth. Very long finish for a rose.

Decanted for about 45 minutes. Relatively thin body, but very nice nose of cherry and some licorice. Taste was strong cherry, some licorice and a little hint of bitter green pepper. Body improved with time. Went well with the wild salmon and beets.

Austere nose, not the typical fruit seen on a rose. What's there is strawberry, muted on the nose and bit too strong on the palatte.
