This is an outstanding Chardonnay and it is very approachable. It is a gift that keeps on giving as was opening in the glass and in the bottle.

Absolutely fantastic. In a good drinking window with Mataro predominant flavor profile. Smooth, great nose and mouthfeel, nice and complex texture with deep dark fruit penetration. There is great pleasure in this one. Opened right up, no decant. Enjoy.

I do like to let others know when I think a wine is coming to its own and some details of my experience. You have time on the bottle but I think the PAD is drinking pretty good now!

8/3/21, 3:14 PM - Yes, I remember being disappointed with the 2017 vintage as well. Not sure why taste and flavor profile has deteriorated to some degree in recent vintages

I agree with the comments of others. This is a fantastic Chardonnay. Drank extremely well over 3 days particularly the nose of fresh tropical fruit, subtle spice and minerality; in the palate concentrated, smooth well integrated and balanced; a long lasting finish

Pineapple notes, tropical fruit, mild acidity,minerality, minimal if any oak and not a touch of butter. Smooth, good mouthfeel, balance, charm and finish!
