A bit from memory, but a nicely aged Bdx.
Important aside: Opened this bottle in April 2023, put half in the freezer.
Defrosted in April 2024.
Perfect. Amazing. Never heard of such a thing.

Same TN from 2022.
Decent, enjoyable bottle, although I think it will be better in a few years.
Nice quite as smooth as I hope/want/expect Cote de Beaune to be.

Outstanding. 30+ yo bottle -- drank perfectly. Seamless.
Typical flavor profile for an aged, non first growth Bdx.
I was a bit shocked, because the bottle I had in 2008 was spoiled, but this one was perfect.
Wow.

Excellent. Well-balanced, smooth, flavorful -- could not ask for more.
Improved a bit with some "air time," but it was good upon opening.
Also, good on Day 2.

I have very little experience drinking sake, and so my opinions is not well-informed.
Seemed a bit sweet to me, at least compared to sake I have had in the past. Good with sushi. an important consideration. :-)

I raised my initial 85 to 87 (for what two points are worth) based on sampling the wine on Day 2.
It s rich and flavorful.

Bone dry, and a bit unidimensional for my palate, although a decent bottle overall. Held up nicely on Day 2.

Five and a half years after the last bottle, and it is as if time has stood still. The decant was not as long, but the wine was as stellar. Sadly, my last.

Great bottle in all respects. Took a bit to open up (an hour or so in a narrow bottom decanter), but after that it was one satisfying mouthful after another. Held up on Day 2 with no degradation. Had a touch of chocolate somewhere.

I do not drink a lot of Rioja, so I cannot compare in this regard; however, the quality was equal to an upscale Bordeaux.

I have another. No need to rush, but no need to wait.

Excellent bottle, even smoother ion Day 2 than Day 1.
Benefitted meaningfully from an hour or so breathing.
No need to decant, but do not pop'n'pour.

A bit from memory.

Upon the advice of some members of CT forum, I opened this the day before, and let it breathe. Opened in the morning, but put the cork back in overnight -- seemed like it was opening well. Decanted to serve.

I do not have much experience with Barolo, something I hope to change in the near future, and so my TN may not reflect normative criteria.

Overall, very nice bottle. Initially, I detected some Amarone like flavors, although this was not pronounced. My bottle was not too tight, and the tannins were not that strong. Perhaps this was due to the extended air-time.

This was my only bottle, so this note is simply for posterity.

Decent claret, although not exceptional. Opened up a bit through the bottle, but it was lacking a bit of depth and smoothness/roundness. Maybe a bit past prime?

Benefitted from decanting. Improved over a few hours.

I have been drinking Greysac over the years, and it has always been very reliable.
This bottle was no exception.
Had this bottle at a restaurant, and so there really was no enough time to let it open fully.

I suspect the two bottle I brought home will show a bit better given a but more time.
At just over 20USD per bottle seems like a good deal to me.

Depending upon how the two I bought go, I could buy a few more.

Not nearly as good as the previous bottles. I have had success with older white Bdx, even at entry level prices. This bottle was not spoiled, but it did not have the richness that other bottle of this wine and other older white Bdx I have had.

Day 1 I was a bit puzzled by this wine. Did not seem that it could make up its mind what it wanted to be -- some type of Rhone blend seems closest.

After a few days in the fridge, the wine opened up well.

There is a sort of mystique surrounding white Rhones.
Many believe that they are good the first few years after being released and then they go through a quiet or dumb stage, with the length of this stage being somewhat indeterminate, but certainly ten years. I am agnostic on this matter, although I tend to allow wines to age rather than drink them young.

This bottle was true to form -- rich and full. If you are looking for crispness, look elsewhere.
I think BVal (1/11/2023) summed the wine up well, although my score is not as high as his/hers.

Great bottle. Perfect blend of traditional CDP flavors.

Decent, classic (very classic) Bordeaux, although a little something was missing.

Literally, found this bottle in a dark place in my cellar, I thought it was gone (somehow).
I was a little anxious about the bottle, a 20+yo Chablis sort of pushes the envelope.
Nevertheless, the bottle was great. Not oxidized.
Clearly mature, and perhaps a bit too "funky" for some, but it was fine for me.

Excellent balance all around.
Enough fruit still left. Good acidity.

There was some left, and on Day 2, not so good -- not bad, but not o good.
If I find the other lot bottle, I will be certain to drink it all at once.

I decanted and it took a bit of time for the bottle to open up (45-60 min), although the aroma that hit my nostrils upon opening suggested something good was in store.

Pretty standard Bordeaux profile -- my fav.

An excellent bottle. Clearly "Old World" in style rather than New, which is just fine with me.
Went very well with some zucchini parmigiano.

Although some previous TNs suggested otherwise, this bottle benefited meaningfully from decanting.
I let it rest for 90 minutes in a decanter with a medium sized bottom.

Excellent. The premier Cru was evident.
