color light garnet, smooth tannins, good acid, tertiary flavors starting to show, drank easily and smoothly. Old wines are always a surprise when one opens them, and this was a positive surprise.

Beautiful wine. Color: pale garnet with a watery rim. Nose: berries and classic Burgundian earthiness. Taste: tart, medium body, high acid, and mediaum tannins. Tasted great with machego cheese, gouda, and toasted almonds.

Surprisingly good, still very fresh, floral, aromatic, I sensed some tropical fruit flavors like mango I think. Decent acid for a Gewurztraminer, off-dry, paired well with spicy snacks. Pale straw color, fairly long finish, light bodied wine. All in all really surprised by how good it tasted given that it is 11 years old!!!
