This is drinking at peak. The cork was beginning to deteriorate and broke up during extraction. I recently purchased this at my local COSTCO. They recently acquired a modest supply of 2016's and 2020's.

Pinot Noir is not my favorite flavor profile. For me, the cherry component was a little too predominant. I can see where some Pinot fans might give this a higher score.

It is possible this wine might show a little improvement with more aging. However, the fact this wine exists and performs as well as it does, given the fire and weather challenges, is a tribute to Carlisle.

Drank in Orebic in restaurant on the beach. For a rose, this wine has a lot of structure and complexity.
