Real name: Jon Cooper

I am an American and Italian dual national, born and educated in the states, living in Europe (in Milan, Rome, Stockholm) since 1973 with various long stays in New York, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco. I quit my career information technology a few years ago and bought a run-down mansion on the beach in Normandy, in one of France's most beautiful and famous towns, Etretat. It is the place where Monet discovered Impressionism and Offenbach lived to create light opera and Maupassant lived to write twisted novels of dark complexity. The light on the white cliffs is astounding. I renovated the mansion and turned the mansion into a Bed and Breakfast with 5 rooms, garden full of flowers, spa, jacuzzi, and cinema room where I and the guests who want to, enjoy films from my collection. I was one of the owners of the Asinocotto in Rome, a gourmet restaurant whose chef produced such delicacies that the restaurant made it into the Michelin from the first year. Now it is chill time in Normandy, the air pure, the camembert and Calvados exciting. The wine cellar I have been putting together for years is finally under cellartracker.com's organisational genius and we open bottles for cheese and dinners regularly.
