Light yellow- ripe orchard fruits and sweet flowers and faint tree nut oils all checked - yet a bit lighter and less zippy - acknowledging of course zippy acids is not a marsanne/rousanne trademark- than priors I have enjoyed - off list at resto but if I were a case long on this I’d probably put them on the front burner.

BTG from list at La Bien Aparecida in Madrid to accompany their lovely version of cheesecake and it was as noted below by so many and not unexpectedly as a 30 años PX an uber concentrated complex syrupy elixir which went well with my cheescake and my wife’s citrus based dessert and then with my espressos and then alone too. Raisons, coffee, toffee, etc. and enough salinity and tartness to keep it all focused and coherent on the palate. Bravo

Luminous clear magenta - fresh floral lift with bright sweet perfectly ripe chiefly strawraspberry but a touch of cran brightness too - more Cote d’Or than grenache porto - “Rayas’sh” - nice juice - bravo!

Very concentrated and saline - at home with the richest of food products such as the Cantabrian anchovies or perhaps with cured olives or rich deserts especially with a bevy of salt to neutralize the heavy salinity of this beast.

Overwhelmed by powerful Cantabrian anchovies in Madrid but married quite nicely to rice and clam dish. Not a monument but up to this task. Moved to the much richer and saline 12 yr Palo Cortado for the anchovies.

Nothing standing out or off throughout bottle that washed down pintxos - a little bitter citrus peel streak at end which is not to my personal liking but with food it works and is inexpensive.

From list at Fagollago in the hills above San Sebastien - great resto - easy cab to and fro and well worth the sojourn - anyway the wine - roasted pruneaux and coffee notes - luxurious structure - no hurries on well-cellared bottles but pulling a cork now is rewarding too. Seems to buck my impression of ‘14 being perhaps a cooler vintage relative to ‘03,’05,’10 and ‘15 but warm tones dominate - nicely.

Dense clouded ruby brown black - roasted coffee and dark chocolate dominate aromas and flavors overlying pruneaux fruit. Brusquely alcoholic with hefty tannins already thick and velvety. Roasted beast especially bbq styled with char points and a sweet and spicy sauce would be ideal partner

55F since acquiring at release - clear black crimson - sweet flowers and dark fruits jump at Durand assisted corkpull of intact closure - always a good sign - ready almost billowing clean deep pure inexhaustible aromas of Agen pruneaux and drippingly ripe black cherries with a sweet fresh floral lift and a perfect espresso base all in a creamy velvety spicy tart lively verve-y vehicle.
An outstanding example of the value of cellar keeping. Well-cellared this gem currently resides in a long apogee. Congrats to those who have gone the mile with this one. Hard to put numbers on wines and art and people, etc. but I put a big number on it as other examples - perhaps not dutifully cellared or with closure failures, etc. have apparently not been as well received.

Agree with Grizzlywine just might add for those who dig herbal green freshness - it is there in the form of muddled moist spring grass - and the density of pigment and flavor concentration along with structure and style (?carbonic and noncarbonic blend?) makes this a doppelgänger for a solid fresh N Rhone syrah.

NV - mousse and bead of cremant but not champagne of course - fairly deep yellow gold - apples, pears, fermented straw, rather concentrated, flavors and aromas expected from the Jura. High value in the genre of cremant especially if Jura fruit suits your tastes.

Dense luminous crimson red - freshly crushed red berry melange pushes from corkpull - tangy juicy concentrated as a fresh Jamet - gushing with pure deep primary fruit with heaps of fresh spearmint and fresh fragrant flowers swirled in - carbonic in Burg? This fruit bomb has structure too - I mean it must - as the wine fleshes out and feels rather complete on the palate even though the tannins present are completely smothered by the avalanche of fruit. There may be some earthy and spice notes that emerge overtime but at this moment the wine drinks like a most dense and juicy Beaujolais or a juicy fruit CR. Bizarrely concentrated fruitbomby BR - Bravo.

Medium clear slightly tawnied crimson- nose of somewhat distant clean fresh red fruits from cran to straw to rasp to cherry with floral and menthol lift - spicy powdery tannins and bright acids within spitting range of balance - for its pretty fresh fruit and balanced structure I will consume in the remainder of my 6 pack in its lovely youth.

Drank alongside Bruno Colin’s ‘20 BB and Bernard Moreau’s ‘19 BB - bottomline all 3 are well made and tasty BB’s redolent of orchard fruits and lemony citricity. This one has golden delish and Barlett pear notes with nicely integrated/balanced citricity with faint bitter orchard fruit skin close.

Week old specimen sitting on counter corked with a glassful still in the bottle from my son’s recent night out with friends before heading back to school. Leftover pasta with arriabata sauce for breakfast - finished coffee - off for the day - a few bites left - poured this and surprisingly drinkable - soft and pruney - certainly better than grocery plonk of last century though I won’t be stocking it nor would I suppose any CT’rs - but if your college age offspring park this on the counter and you need a gullet wash it isn’t toxic.
