So much sulfur on the nose, it is all you can smell. Hugely flawed

8/10/16, 7:38 AM - I had it from multiple peoples cellars and they have all been flawed in this same way. If I just mark flawed people might think it is corked, has been in the heat for too long or something of the sort. I like to post it here because it seems like all bottles have been like this. I've had it seven different times from seven different people who have purchased and all bottles have been the same. I normally just select flawed and don't rate it, but I feel people should know why on this one and that it seems to be an occurring issue. And issue that might be cause for refund due to being faulty from the winery.

Corked. Wet cardboard on the nose, musty, stewed fruit. Bummer. First of five, concerned. Goes progressively downhill with air.

I'm letting this sit over night. This was so sulfuric when I opened it I had to record it and give it a night. Tasted fine, I just couldn't get past that hard boiled egg smell. Now 82 due to the nose, will revisit tomorrow . . .

11/2/15, 7:54 AM - Unfortunately no, I was really down because I wanted to like this wine. Won't be buying it again. This happened to me with the previous vintage as well.

This wine is good to go! Everything has come together to make a great mountain Cabernet. Dark purple in color, lots of dark berries and great minerality to balance out the great fruit. Thankfully I have one more bottle!

6/28/13, 7:35 AM - Glad my comments helped, i bought this wine a couple years ago on a recommendation from my friend who is a sommelier and he said wait two years on it and then drink it. Boy was he right!
