Served for our anniversary. Decanted for two hours. Disappointed overall; fruit is gone but still lots of oak. Would drink now. For the cost would not buy this wine again. Another example of an over priced California Cab.

This was a 1994 not 1998. Wine was past its prime. There was a "funky" smell but do not know the reason. The cork looked fine. Ther wine was medium body, nice collor, no tanins. Earlier wines from this vintage were much better.

Decanted 1/2 hour before drinking. Brick-red color. Excellent nose of ripe cherries, cassis and earth. Light on the palate with good fruit. Good finish. Drink sooner rather than later.
