This used to be something that I stocked as a daily drinker but it fell out of favor with me. Just had the 2014. I would say the best yet. Smooth. Light. Green apple. At the price point, a no brainer.

Needs an hour in the decanter and then sings. One of those Last Bottle finds that makes you wish you bought a case.

P-n-P. Sweet. Smooth. Loads of alcohol on the back end. Dissipated a little by night 2. Would definitely open (and possibly decant) 24 hours in advance of next bottle.

Needed 45 minutes in the glass to open and then was singing! I will be stocking up. Quite possibly my favorite TRB cab value.

20+ hour double decant plus another 2+ in a decanter. Stunning. Smooth. Needs the air but drinks awesome with it. Will save my remaining '10. Can't want to try the '11. Worth the hype in my opinion.

Best sweet/dessert wine that i have ever had. Liquid gold in a glass. Honey, bright lemony joy. The perfect compliment to dessert. My last bottle but one that I will not forget.

This is the wine that got me drinking chardonnay. I cannot think of a better 1st wine of the night to get things off on the right foot.

We drank this immediately following the '06 (a 94) from the same vineyard. This one was much rougher around the edges although it improved by the minute in the glass.

I am not very experienced with this type/style of wine, far more complex that the Cali pinot I drink regulalry. There is a TON going on here. Also, this was consumed very shortly after a UPS trip across country and with only a 45 minute decant. As I said, there is a lot going on here. I liked it but did not love it but feel that after I give my other 2 bottles a couple more years in the cellar and drink at home after a proper decant, it will show much, much better.

Over 3 nights and 9 wines this was the standout red wine star. Smooth and refined and fabulous. One of the best pinots that I have had.

Young but fabulous. Not taking a back seat to the excellent Bee Block Chardonnay. Floral, open, approachable but with room to improve. I will wait at least another year to have this one again maybe even make it a holiday ritual.

This wine, with a year of bottle age, is as good as any SB that I have tasted. Smooth, fruity, very refreshing...a great warm weather wine. Awesome inaugural effort.

And I thought its sister wine, the '08 Varner Bee Block was good. This could very well be the best bottle of chardonnay that I have ever had and I enjoyed it immediately following a cross country UPS trip and an afternoon on ice. Smooth as silk and a perfect compliment to a giant shellfish platter from the raw bar at Comme Ca in the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Truly exceptional.

Happened to meet Andrew on his Pinot Posse tour and he said "its ready". That being the case, took a bottle out BYO last night. Decanted for about 45 minutes and dove right in. Very smooth. Deep and dark with berries. Still a little young but should develop nicely over the next few years. The Treat definitely was one.
