4/12/24, 7:28 PM - Definitely. When young like this, these wines don’t budge an inch for at least 10-14 days open.
4/15/24, 7:14 AM - For me, no. These wines are built to age and made in a very old school and stripped down way. I love their purity and also that they don't always make it 'easy.' Serious wines that are well worth the patience, IMO.
8/25/22, 11:51 AM - Got them through Easy Does It. Zack has good access of the Vom Boden wines. I LOVE the Leipold Silvaners!
8/25/22, 11:50 AM - Thanks!I bought a lot of the Peter Lauer wines too. An annual buy for me, but went heavier on the Kabinetts in 2021.
2/7/22, 7:54 PM - I think you need to revisit this one. Drinking it tonight and it is beautiful.
4/20/21, 8:12 AM - Thanks for the comment and question. I just popped the cork back in the bottle and put it in the fridge. I knew the wine wouldn't be hurt overnight. Showed very well on day two.
3/6/18, 6:43 AM - Thanks for the question, I should have included the additional info in my note. Disgorgement Date: May 2016. 70 months on the lees.
8/14/17, 11:57 AM - I think that it is in good shape and currently drinking well. I definitely think that it has 2-3 years of good drinking ahead of it. It showed quite well on day two, but on day three it started to fade. I pumped the air out each day, but there was only about 3 ounces left on day three.
12/14/16, 12:11 PM - I would recommend holding it for maybe 3-5 years before checking in with it. Obviously depends on how many bottles you have though.
5/15/15, 8:29 AM - I haven't had this wine in a while, but was considering opening one in the next month.
8/13/13, 8:31 AM - Thanks for the comment, Barry. After a conversation with MB, I decided that I would drink through my 08's because of their specific vintage characteristics and then go back to the more "typical" and in my opinion, better 2007 vintage wines.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
