Valduero 6 anos riserva premium 2007. Very cherry and red plum, pepper heavy body and good length, well blended but could use more time. Wonderful traditional flavour and will get better!

Minimum 2 hr decant: Taste of leather and just tart chees, heavy body, excellent balance, moderate tannins, medium-long length. This bottle was superb, but others in my six ranged from near this quality to slightly past prime and a bit gamey and tart. DRINK NOW

Manley pinotage 2012. Deep purple colour. Light leather scent. Nice blend of sweet dark berries and chocolate , with a bit of dry leather and bitter herbs. Light medium body and length, nicely balanced and flavourful. Very good.
