Thought this would be over the hill. Bought on release from the winery. I have fair bit of these rose's of varying vintages when they still made them as I'm a big Kapcsandy fan. It's definitely a red wine lovers rose. My wife is not a huge fan so more for me. Really fragrant big nose of pears and apples. Mouthfeel is heavy in a good and coating way. A great summer drink far different than other Napa/Sonoma oversweetened still rose attempts.

Olives and green onions on nose with a touch of floral I can't identify. Mouth filling with cassis, coffee, and some faint plum. Finish is nice but is shorter than I'd like.

11/21/13, 12:23 PM - Opened and decanted about an hour to 2 before drinking. And then followed it over the next 6 hours. It continued to improve as when I first opened I was a bit concerned.
