Last two bottles were bad. Imagine the tartest cranberry followed by an aspirin taste. It will be awhile before we try another bottle.

Enjoyed with a rack of lamb for our New Years Eve dinner. We let the wine breath in our glasses for about 30 minutes. Wonderful bouquet and a surprisingly elegant wine.

Bought at grocery store for half off. Will try to take back. Cheap candy flavor and undrinkable for our taste.

Would rate higher if it had a longer finish. We found this wine to be a very nice pinot.

This baby has become over the hill. Wishing we drank this last bottle a year prior. Little if any acidity left leaves semi-flat fruit. 2004 vintage remains our favorite for this label

Well balanced with just the right amount of funk, drinking perfectly now. Open for 1 hour prior to tasting.

Not sure what past reviews are seeing in this wine. The bottle I'm drinking is clearly not flawed but also not layered with flavors. Had with smoked lamb neck. Bouquet over shadowed the short lived sweet syrah palate. Not in the same league of top WA syrahs IMOHO. Getting zero funk!

Really enjoyed our last bottle and wished we had waited this long on the others. Why wait any longer? The fruit is pronounced with great balance.

I would get on this one now. Tannins have diminished quite a bit yet still pleasant and elegant.

This wine is drinking perfectly right now. Followed up with an '02 Twomey which could use a few more years.

Really hoping the artificial cork was only a problem for this 1st bottle out of the case. The nose was so cheap smelling that I could barely get myself to taste what was in my glass. My wife concurred while our neighbor thought there might be something there if we give it time. There wasn't. Hoping this was a flawed bottle and will take another swing in another week or so. Bought a case on everyone's recommendation.

Not for the timid! This monster had a nose of deep propane and smoother tannins as compared to a fews ago. Inky and dense.

Huge mutha!!! Give it at least an hour in glass. Ever evolving gob-stopper of a wine. Fruit is bright and intense but somehow balanced. Will wait another year for next bottle.

This baby isn't ready for drinking yet in our opinion...we're going to wait at least another year before popping another one. We should have decanted and let it breath a while.

Tried The Bully at opening of Bin - 41 in West Seattle. This was a pre-release event that Chris himself was pouring at. The wine was as tight as the pourings, impossible to rate at this point without double decanting and letting sit for hours. Never the less, I'll be picking up a six pack today at Chris's "official" release party. I'm confident that he'll have the wine airing out for this tasting!

This beauty makes you proud to be from Washington. Bouquet is piercing yet combines elegance and near perfect extraction at mid palate. Finish is supurb. This may be the perfect time to drink one. 94 pts without a doubt!

This vintage is already further along than last year as far as the separate components making it to the palate. The fruit is outstanding and is already showing elegance and softness as compared to it's Champoux brother.

The Cheval was drinking better than the rest of the line at the release party. I don't believe that this will lay down as long as the Champoux or Sorella but who cares, it's drinking excellent now! Nice fruit and balance.

Tough to rate such a young bruiser. This wine grabbed my entire mouth and nose with big tannin and alcohol that will need years to settle. I'm thinking that this one will age very favorably with it's abundant fruit. Both the Sorella and Chaval were well sorted out compared to the Champoux this year.
