The rating to date does not do this full credit. It may be an unfashionable year, but the colour showed the wine had plenty of life left, the nose was average for this sort of wine, the taste was medium long with soft as well as dark fruit

Good Burgundy. Clour was red and reasonably dense, the nose was fruit, the taste was soft easy and not austere and medium length. Went well with roast pigeon

Nothing wrong with this wine. First 2 bottles had decanted 3 hours in view of previous reviews, but 3rd bottle pop and pour and it was still great.
Colour good, no sign of age nose,perhaps, not so strong, taste soft and easily digestible, medium length taste

I thought still slightly blue tinge on opening. Still plenty of years left. Heavy sediment, just as well I decanted. Very dense red fruit flavour, long taste

I think this compares very much with Roche de Bellene Vosne Romanée Malconsorsts. Quite dark colour and deep strong taste of dark fruit. Quite long taste

2 hour decant and this wine is good. On opening the bouquet of fruit comes up. The wine is not harsh but it is strong.
Went well with duck confit. reasonably long taste
