Tasted double blind. Quite massive and bold. More new world than Puligny, but very nice.

Tasted double blind. Total opposite to the Fahn. Lean, precise, mineral, tension, good length. Very good and with great potential.

White
2015 Azienda Agricola Valentini Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Italy, Abruzzi, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo
*** only for my memory, no detailed note or rating ***
Glass: Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux

Flight 4 (1 note)

White
2006 Peter Jakob Kühn Riesling Kühn "R" Germany, Rheingau
*** only for my memory, no detailed note or rating ***
Glass: Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux
Tasted double blind. Screw cap. Beautiful intense nose wit lots of ripe lemon, yuzu, mineral notes. Some rubber notes that vanished with time. On the palate still fresh an with a high ripe acidity and surprisingly few botrytis notes. Very nice and joyful.

Flight 5 (1 note)

White - Sweet/Dessert
1988 Château d'Yquem France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes
*** only for my memory, no detailed note or rating ***
Glass: Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux
Tasted double blind, decanted. From 0,75 bottle. Probably not the best bottle, nose not that expressive. On the palate classic Yquem elegance and length, but not the usual tension. Nevertheless very joyful 👍

Tasted double blind. Beautiful wine for sure, but not as exiting and remarkable as my previous Perrot. First world problem in today’s amazing lineup .

Flight 11 (1 note)

Red
1998 Penfolds Grange Australia, South Australia
*** only for my memory, no detailed note or rating ***
Glass: Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux
Tasted double blind. What a surprise! After the great burgundies this evening the Grange felt like C9dP. Nose was not as expressive as expected. Still very young. Needs time or decent decant.
