5/4/2024 - glou.sf Likes this wine: 95 pointsThis was pretty closed at first but with air it started to show floral notes, wild strawberries, and sweet fruit. Well balanced with good depth on the palate, ripe fruit, and maybe a hint of plums. It picked up aromatics and lift with air. Long finish. A gorgeous wine, although not quite as good as the last bottle I had. In this tasting a small but noticeable step up from the Pignan. |

5/4/2024 - glou.sf Likes this wine: 94 pointsA big step up from the 2001 Tours Vacqueyras. Very pretty nose with lots of cherries, a hint of strawberries, and spices. The palate is also very fruit driven with more cherries and strawberries, noticeable structure, and a little sweeter fruit, especially when compared to the Rayas. Nice finish. |

5/6/2024 - La Ronde Likes this wine: 93 pointsKeep bringing me any cooler vintage CDPs you have. Really excellent wine from a producer I was aware of but had never had until now. Drank over the course of 2 hours while decanted. Much Provençal charm here both in the bouquet and on the palate. A little strong at first but within 20 minutes it hit its stride. Very well balanced, tannins well integrated and tender fruit. |

5/4/2024 - parkline_wine Likes this wine: 94 pointsWas perfectly late peak, no decant needed, great balance and smooth. Likely a 95 3-5 years ago, but taking a point off due to a slight slight decline evident in its staying power. |

5/6/2024 - colinscellar wrote: 91 pointsRed fruits with a combination tart freshness but also slight syrupyness. Definitely a jubey lolly character, eminds me of strawberry jam and raspberry cordial. Iron ore on the nose as well as a slight hint of something clinical or plastic, not sure if that's from carbonic maceration or something else. |
