This is a good example of Pinot Noir - red fruits, some earth, darker color than I am used to, decent finish, and lovely on the palate. A good drinking wine over the next year or two. |

Ruby color, hints of chocolate, blackberry, vanilla, caramel, and licorice. Tannins were mellow (I have seen other reviews describe them as heavy), medium acidity and alcohol, and a beautiful finish. I have a few more bottles that I will keep but am not sure the wine has a drink date out to 2035. |

The Nose was so deep and rich that i kept coming back to it after every taste. I do think that this wine is a standout in the 2010 vintage. The bouquet was beautiful with dark fruits, tobacco, and spice - very aromatic and refined. On the palate there was also a hint of black pepper and the finish was long and wonderful. We savored this one for quite a while. Still had plenty of age left. |
