In a really good place. Black slightly unripe, green fruit. Stalky yet supported by plenty of fruit. Integrated tannin providing good structure. Defo Pauillac.

Fully mature.

Tropical nose. Creamy texture and tropical notes continue on the palate. Quite soft overall and frsheness is just hanging on, rich though with good intensity. Slightly green, pithy finish which adds some character.

Good wine but...

Drink now, this will only fade from now on.

Great nose, quite pronounced. Lemon, minerality, some lime in the background. Petrol notes developing. Clean and not oily.

Palate is bone dry with laser like acidity that carries and holds onto the long long finish. Fruit is pure citrus with perhaps some nut (almond or cashew maybe) and although the acidity is high, it has softened and makes the mouthfeel rounder.

Moreish.

Wow, just wow.

This could just be a perfect wine for me. It’s in such a good place with typical Aussie fruit with a load of savoury, persistent (yet subtle not brash) leathery notes.

The structure is immense and reflects the low yields and delicate touch. This dances around the palate and is pure pleasure.

Fabulous dual edged riesling.

On the nose, kerosene, lime sherbet and some oiliness comes across.

On the palate,it’s bone dry, some spritz perhaps (prickly) with lots of minerally lemon edged juice.

Really enjoyed this. Surprisingly fresh after 10 yrs. A touch reductive but the use if oak is well balanced. 250 cases made so this is pretty rare stuff.

Good chardonnay character on the palate but it is restrained and structured, certainly not blousey. Top stuff.

Interesting stuff, quite un pinot on the nose. V intense.

Palate gives way more character and this was initially quite restrained. Some of the group were less impressed. There was a slightly green edge to the ripe fruit notes and tannin (possible whole bunch ferment) with the wine demonstrating some finesse by the wine maker.

The wine ultimately didn't seem to add up to the sum of its parts though on the night.

In a really good place. Bags of black fruit still, fine fine tannin. This has aged really well, it's so smooth yet holds some complexity and delivers a long and luscious finish. Alcohol well in check.

Big and bruising type of wine full of black fruit. A little perfumed with herbs but the fruit is the powerhouse. Quite drinkable though if nothing especially complex (even at this age). Tannins become a touch pinched and drying on the finish so drink up if you have any.

I feared the worse for this but it was perfumed heaven. Slightly tart and green but with plenty of crunchy berry fruit. The tannins are so fine now all in perfect balance with that touch of rusricity I love in these wines. 13% too. What's not to like?!

Deliciously integrated. Soft red fruit with a firmer black fruit finish. Touch of richness and coffee adds a different aspect that's all wrapped up in bitter tannin. Lovely stuff.

Youthful so give it a decant.

Slightly smoky, perfumed cherry and raspberry. Awesome acidity but bags of fruit, que tart fruit at this age. Really silky tannin. Long perfumed finish. Herbaceous.

Very moreish. Will benefit bottle age but it's delicious now.

Medicinal blackcurrant on the nose. Quite aromatic and slightly confected even.

Palate is similar with good acidity and we'll integrated tannin finishing with bittness. A touch hot but is carried well. Very quaffable with loads o fruit. Medium body at best despite the 14.5%.

Light in colour, assume high in grenache.

Nose has some complexity and very herbacaeous. Mature though.

Touch stewed on the palate, more red than black fruit. Fine integrated tannin showing firmness in the finish. Fruit is long though and the alcohol is well balanced considering the 14%. More enjoyable that on the nose.

For me this is fully developed and probably not much more in it either. Drink up.

Interesting. Unlike other vintages of GR that I've had.

This one didn't have the typical cherry, spice perfume notes going on that I love. It wasn't bad just different.

The nose was perfumed but more ripe red fruits mixed with an almost candied sweets nose.

The palate was ripe, good a idity and good tannin. It just seems to be missing a touch of complexity. Perhaps it's closed down at the mo and will blossom again but for now this is at the simpler end of the scale for the standards set by Phil and team at GR.

Took a while to open up. Initially quite green and stalky.

After a while, this is juicy fully o te grated pinot. Only 13% which is delightful. Slightly sour cherry, some spice perhaps some tea and herbs? Long and luscious.

Lovely stuff. Drinking very well now though will hold for a few years.

Fascinating wine. Ripe nose of gala melon, apple and perhaps pear. But it's mostly ripe melon.

Palate is dry, pithy even. Lots of texture. Fruit remains fresh (no natural funk noted) with red fruit in the lighter style. Very smooth, perhaps looking for a touch more complexity? Small critcism though!

The finish and concentration is sooo long. Love it, ending in bitter tannin and a touch of spice.

Quite a perfumed nose yet not heady with alcohol. Menthol and a touch of oak noted with some juicy blackcurrant fruit supporting.

Palate is very juicy actually with integrated yet persistent tannin and herby/spicy finish.

Quite moreish with blackcurrant and blueberry noted. Straightforward and honest but the fruit is clearly the star here.

Slightly bretty farmyard nose. Even at 10 yrs, it needed so e air to open up.

Crunchy fruit with unripe notes and zingy acidity. The intes uty if fruit and length is bang on. Tannins offer great structure fir the fruit to hang onto. Quite grippy on the finish.

Soft black fruit initially on the nose with herbs. Palate is v dry and chewy tannin noted though so so integrated. Great structure. Almost chocolate on the finish but the primary fruit is fading. Certainly more tertiary notes of leather, meat and herbs but it still has a sweet edge.

The finish is long and balanced with everything ending at the same time.

I know Chianti shouldn't taste this good at 15 years but this does.

Palate is honeyed, off dry. Great acidity, really mouthwatering. 7.5 %. Very enjoyable. Pretty good finish.

Bright fruit, slightly under ripe and crunchy.

Some greenness to the tannin though they are quite soft.

Interesting ut not outstanding. Nice and refreshing alcohol level though.

Enjoyed a magnum of this with friends.

Developed menthol and black fruit notes on the nose. Palate pretty similar though with some real fruit intensity and not showing its age at all. The indications of age come from the fully developed tannin that are not noticeable at all.

It's probably a touch one dimensional and you would expect more at this age but a real crowd pleaser none the less.

Alcohol is prominent (15%) making it a touch stewed.

Final bottle.

Really enjoyable. Acid remains a constant as expected from this grape. Honey citrus and minerality lead to a very clean finish.

Not showing its age at all apart from a golden hue from the developed wine.

Delicious considering it was around £8 a go.
