2/20/2018 - Mike Kopanski wrote: 91 pointsAt first my palate thought it senses a little sweetness, especially since the viscosity is rich for a Pinot. But further research categorized this as one of those wines so balanced it does seem to be sweet when totally dry. There is a lot to like here. Some Christmas spice. More wood than usual. Crisp upfront cranberry, red raspberry and cherry. Some metallic flavors. Black pepper and exotic spices and herbs. Just brings layers and complexity.showed a pretty decent pizza who was boss. |

11/27/2023 - vinorsk wrote: 95 pointsAmazing. Silky cherries, lithe body- deep but delicate flavors of cherries, hints of sage, tart light acidity and super fine tannins. A remarkable wine- it has depth but is incredibly light. It has an intensity and purity of flavor but is not at all over-ripe or jammy and it’s has body but no noticeable alcohol. Wonderful |

4/14/2023 - gilbo5 wrote: 88 pointsThe cork come out easy, possibly too easy. Initial nose in bottle was warm and rich. Some crystals on the cork. Initial pour gave an indication the wine was old and bricked. Color on the rim was towards brown. A wine unlike EIEIO. As the wine opened it never fully dropped the bricked nose and taste, but after a few hours it developed a almost amarone flavor with dried fruits. I bought 6 bottles so I am concerned they are well past their drinkable date. |

5/5/2021 - wine-drinker Likes this wine: 93 pointsGreat Oregon Pinot which has aged gracefully over 12 years. Shares some characteristics with very well made Burgundy - wild cherry, a little barnyard, and truffle; finishing with a lively acidity which keeps all the flavors tight. |

1/11/2023 - Islamabadbadbad Does not like this wine: 80 pointsNose was funky with a slightly oxidized smell. Better with some time out of bottle. Very acidic, mild tannin, dry. Nose is fruit forward with cherry, cranberry, manure. Palate is similar with some blood orange, hawthorn. Nice length with lingering flavor and smell. The wine was a bit abrasive, may have been slightly flawed, but I would need to try another bottle to know for sure and I’d rather put my time and money elsewhere given my first experience. |

8/31/2022 - Mallards wrote: 93 pointsWe get crazy about “ best years” and we left this bottle alone because it wasn’t a 2012. This wine was excellent, fruity, elegant, smooth, virtually perfect Oregon Pinot. This winemaker knows what he is doing, and can rock even a marginal vintage. Amazing Oregon Pinot Noir. |

8/21/2022 - vinorsk Likes this wine: 90 pointsVery drinkable, more like rich and ripe Gamay. It is all ripe strawberries, soft fruit, and a medium body. Enough acidity to be food friendly but it is very well |
