I decided to try the feature to add wine by forwarding a receipt email. I've emailed a handful of receipts, from two different purveyors (including WTSO), but have yet to see any notifications, or changes on my CT account. I assumed this would be a pretty quick turn, maybe a few minutes, even a couple of hours, but nothing yet after waiting overnight.

Any experience here that others can share?

On https://support.cellartracker.com/article/75-add-via-receipt it says to email beta@cellartracker.com if you have problems with the new feature (I haven't tried it, so I have no idea how well it works or how long it takes, but I would guess "seconds")

Right. I'm not sure I have a problem, per se. Just curious whether other people saw instantaneous acceptance (which I would expect in an automated system), or if there some time period between submission and acceptance (maybe human review).

Holy Cow! I’m not surprised when I see strangers treating to one another like that on the internet, but such derision and condescension coming from an employee of a company, much less the owner/founder…Eric, you need to check yourself. A response like that is simply not ok.

My bad for posting that in the general discussion area. It was my first time using this feature, as I noted, and so I didn’t know if there was an actual problem, so rather than needlessly posting in the Support area, I thought I’d solicit general feedback from other users as to their experience, before posting int he Support area. Your feedback would perhaps be best included in the “Add via Receipt” page that outlines how it works.

Again, I find your response in poor taste, and certainly not conducive to ongoing respectful dialog.

When you are using a beta feature with a clearly documented way to provide feedback, please do not post about it in a unrelated discussion forum. We have very easy ways to contact us, and the discussion forum is off limits for support issues.
