Introduction

Every participant had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought by the others. All wines were tasted blind, also without knowing when the wine you brought yourself was poured.

Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • 1998 Château Léoville Barton 92 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Julien

In the bouquet dark berries, minerals and beautifully dosed oak. On the palate an elegant wine with fresh acidity, dark and red berries, beautiful oak and cedar, good acidity and tannin with still enough power for some more years. Beautiful and classical wine.
