  impressively powerful palate, richness, well integrated flavours, no real sign of any herbal characters, more citrus fruits and honey, lemons and grapefruit, blossoms, hints of toast. Lively acid, years ahead.

  medium depth colour
  nicely integrated mixed berry and fine oak, a little earth, some cherry stone zest
  rich, creamy mouthfeel, fine tannins and acidity, excellent length, black and red cherry, a little damson and cherry stone. Not as marked by its terroir as other vintages, less recognisable.
