    Mouth: Petillance, off dry, medium plus alcohol, medium minus flavour intensity, medium acid, slight phenolic grip, medium bodied, apples, hmm.

  • 2009 Cypress Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

    Colour: Lemon green, medium minus intensity, clear
    Nose: Clean, green grass, asparagus, cats pee – developing
    Mouth: Medium plus acid, green apple, kiwi fruit, white pepper, medium plus alcohol, medium length. Well balanced but a little simple

  • 2009 Valley of the Moon Unoaked Chardonnay

    Colour: Lemon, medium intensity, clear, slight rim fade
    Nose: Medium minus intensity, crisp orchard over stone fruit, very slight creaminess, developing
    Mouth: Warm alcohol, apple and citrus, slight sweet spice, including nutmeg and cinnamon, long finish, medium plus body, creamy. Very pleasant

what really should have been a ripper flight was a bit of a blow off. the clos du val was v.nice though.
