Tasted by GalvezGuy on 11/18/2011 & rated 91 points: CT Texas III; 11/18/2011-11/21/2011 (Galveston, TX): Popped and poured. Great aromatics with citrus flowers, spice, melon, lemon oil, white peach. On the palate, citrus oil, melon, apricots, pear, spice. Finishes with nice balance. Great treat to have this, they are nearly impossible to find here. (3289 views)
Tasted by ckinv368 on 11/18/2011 & rated 92 points: CT Texas Offline III; 11/18/2011-11/19/2011 (Galveston): Wow. SUPER buttery. A bit of acid on the follow up and a little bit of fruit at the very end of the palate. Definitely citrus on the follow up. Orange, and a bit of lemon. Substantial mouthfeel showing the ageability of the wine. Really enjoyable. (3561 views)
Tasted by Oskiwawa on 4/27/2011: tomandlu visits Texas (Sapristi's Bistro Ft. Worth): Not sure if it was me or the bottle but this one came across slightly muted. Underlying Roussanne characteristics were there but not singing. If rated, I would put this in the high 80's but something tells me there is more there than I got from this bottle. NR (1888 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 4/27/2011 & rated 91 points: CT Texas Offline with tomandlu (Sapristi Bistro and Wine Bar, Fort Worth, TX): WIML91

Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Opened and served immediately.

Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of quince, apricot, flowers and lychee. Flavors of lychee, yellow pears and minerals. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink over the next 3-5 years. (2718 views)
Tasted by tomandlu on 4/27/2011 & rated 90 points: Pale yellow color. Lovely, intense fragrance of wet stones, white pepper, and flowers. Intensely mineral on the palate, almost to the exception of the fruit. Fascinating. Strong, mineral finish. Unlike anything I have tried before and I like it. I never would have guessed a Roussanne. Drank to accompany moules francaise at Sapristi in Fort Worth with WIML and oskiwawa. (2284 views)
Tasted by nospeel on 1/6/2011 & rated 91 points: Need to buy more of this. Bright floral/fruits on the nose. Pears with some minerality on the palate. Will buy some more to lay down for a few years. (1153 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 2/10/2010 & rated 91 points: WIML91

Tasted February 10, 2010.

Opened and served immediately. Pretty consistent with previous bottles. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of lychee, paraffin, tropical fruits and yellow pears. Flavors of yellow pears, yellow apples and minerals. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink or hold over the medium term. I think this one will be able to age at least 7 years. This was my last bottle but based on the performance of every bottle I ordered another case to lay down over the medium term. (1320 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 10/17/2009 & rated 91 points: Sacred Cow is released into the wild (Restaurant X, Oklahoma, OK): WIML91

Tasted October 17, 2009 at an offline.

Consistent with the previous bottle. Straw to light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of paraffin, tropical fruits, yellow pears and a bit of florals. Flavors of yellow pears, yellow apples and minerals. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink or hold. I'll likely be buying more. Much more. (2231 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 9/23/2009 & rated 91 points: WIML91

Tasted double blind and an offline.

Opened and served immediately. Straw to light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of paraffin, tropical fruits, yellow pears and a bit of florals. Flavors of yellow pears, yellow apples and minerals. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink or hold. My guess was it's a 2006 or 2007 White Rhone blend of Roussanne with some Marssanne. This wine is a Roussanne.

SIDE NOTE: during the same tasting a group member went to the back of the restaurant and came back with a wine he let me smell only double blind. I pronounced it a mid-1980's Bordeaux. It was a 1986 Haut Brion. You have your moments. Either that or a blind hog... (1499 views)
Tasted by DonWinspear on 9/18/2009 & rated 90 points: My first time with this wine and it does not disappoint. With a pop and pour, the nose is very, very delicate, almost hesitant. The color is a light honey lemon. The wine is delightful. Initial hints of citrus give way to a more complex palate of apricot and a delicate vanilla. Perhaps a sense of peach as well. Very pleased, and am glad I have more in the cellar. (1316 views)
